” My parents are now 92- and 90-years old and, given their individual health issues, are thriving. I am certain that Drew Ross’ care and concern has added to their longevity and quality of life more than I ever imagined possible. ”
Elder Creative Counseling
Our team is dedicated to helping older adults, their families and caregivers cope with the issues involved in aging and memory loss. We are uniquely qualified to help our clients deal with the challenges that are common to aging, Alzheimer’s and dementia, and difficult transitions thus reducing isolation, increasing engagement, and improving overall quality of life.
Long-Term Mental Health
With a focus on family dynamics and recovery, Creative Counseling sets up systems of support and care while shifting unsuccessful patterns of behavior to more functional ways of living. Our experience and training provides us with the insight and knowledge to address difficult problems and provide support and assistance to individuals and families suffering from a variety of issues related to long-term mental health.
Taking care of yourself while trying to care for your loved one can prove to be a huge challenge. Creative Counseling offers several family and caregiver support groups as well as early stage “use it or lose it” groups throughout Sonoma County each month. Our groups provide a venue for open expression and exchanges of ideas, as well as tactical and practical information and support through very difficult transitions.
